My grandma sent me a link to this YouTube video of a man who doesn’t have any limbs, but still remains happy about life and maintains a positive out look on things despite living with out limbs. You know, it’s easy to feel bad for those people and it’s easy to think of how they must struggle. But when you really think about it most of them have what a lot of us don’t have, incredible joy and a positive out look on struggles. I have seen people play guitars with out arms, I have seen people play drums with only one arm, and even seen photographs taken by people with no eyesight. It is truly amazing what we can accomplish when we put our minds to it and when we put our trust in God. My encouragement to you is to not look at struggles negatively, but positively. A way to learn, grow and share…..it’s hard…so so hard to not get depressed about our challenges or things that prohibit us from doing things, but we always need to look for the positive aspect of things. Things that we can do and are capable of and ways we can serve and share. There are so many people out there who have fought many different battles against improbable odds and made it. It takes incredible determination and the ability to not accept defeat! I won’t accept defeat will you?
We all fall down at some point, but we should always get back up again and again even when the world says we can’t….because we can
With God all things are possible!
I encourage you to watch this if you can
(The video link I previously had up was taken down off of you tube for copyright issues….) Here is another link to a different video….. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TtweZxNGk1Y&feature=related
